I’m a final year undergraduate in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, graduating in 2023. I am working at the SAI-MAT group for my undergraduate thesis work from January 2023 to April 2023. I’m interested in using computations and informatics techniques to predict material behavior and discover new materials for critical applications. My work at SAI-MAT involves the use of first principles calculations to study cathode materials for Na-ion batteries.

When I’m not researching, I’m usually learning/listening to carnatic music (violin and voice), solving crosswords, binging movies/series, and annoying my friends with terrible jokes.

After my time in the group, I started as a Master of Science student at The Interdisciplinary Centre for Advanced Materials Simulation (ICAMS), Ruhr University Bochum, Germany.

I was involved with the following publication, resulting from my tenure with the group.
