I’m Srikanth, a B.Tech. student in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli. I’m currently interning with the Sai Materials Group at IISc Bengaluru as part of the Indian Academy of Sciences (IASc) summer research fellowship program of 2025.

My interests are in computational materials science and machine learning. During this internship, I’m working on benchmarking machine learning-based protocols for performing surface calculations.

Outside of academics, I’m crazy about cricket and love watching football. I’m also passionate about unmanned aerial vehicle design and aeromodelling and am an active member of the ‘Third Dimension Club’ at NIT Tiruchirappalli.
