I am a Project Associate in the SAI-MATerials group. I did my Bachelors in Engineering in Production Engineering from Jadavpur University. I graduated with a Master’s in Material science and Engineering in July 2022 from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. I have a keen interest in ab-initio modelling of materials and predicting novel properties. My master’s work involved analysis of ferroelectricity in group III-V family of 2D materials. I am presently working with Prof. Sai Gautam Gopalkrishnan to search for robust gas sensors.

I watch anime or listen to songs in my free time. Swimming, playing football, travelling and hiking are my favourite activities.
