I am a senior undergraduate at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, majoring in Materials Science and Engineering. My research interests are varied and span from biology and biomaterials to understanding light-matter interactions. I have joined the SAI-Mat group as an intern, where I aim to learn how ab initio computational techniques and machine learning are used to advance our understanding of material behaviour. My project involves simulating the surface structures of transition metal oxides (TMOs).

Outside of the lab, I love sports, having played basketball for my college and handball for my school. My other interest is art appreciation in museums and galleries, and I have learned four years of Hindustani classical violin.
