I joined the SAI MATerials group in January 2023 to pursue my my bachelors’ thesis research, while being a final year undergraduate student pursuing Mechanical Engineering at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science - Hyderabad Campus. After completing my bachelor’s thesis, I continued in the SAI-MATerials group till August 2024 as a Project Associate. After my stint in the group, I moved to the University of California Santa Barbara, to pursue my doctoral research under the guidance of Prof. Anton Van der Ven, beginning September 2024.
My research at the SAI-MATerials group focused on applying machine learning and density functional theory calculations to create machine learned interatomic potentials (MLIPs) for solid electrolyte systems. With my interests lying in combining computational techniques and materials engineering, I hope to aid materials research for a greener future.
In my free time, I love reading books and am an ardent gamer. I also love watching sports, be it Roger Federer’s backhand or Virat Kohli’s front drive!
I was involved with the following manuscript as a result of my tenure with the group.
