I am a Ph.D. student at the Materials Engineering department, Indian Institute of Science. My doctoral research is guided jointly by Prof. Aloke Paul and Prof. Sai Gautam Gopalakrishnan. My research interests include various aspects of diffusion-controlled growth of the phases in complex multicomponent alloys. For improving the fundamental understanding of diffusivity, I am involved in the experimental as well as theoretical studies in Ni-based superalloys.
I completed my Master’s in Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, where I did my thesis research with Prof. Aloke Paul. Before that, I completed my undergraduation in Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, West Bengal.
In my leisure time, I love to play chess or practice music, which keeps me relaxed.
