I am a Department of Science and Technology (DST)-Inspire Faculty Fellow in the Department of Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Science. My research interests center around understanding the interplay between several competing interactions involving spin, charge, and lattice degrees of freedom and the emerging phase diagrams in functional materials with different extent of electron correlations. With the SAI-MAT group, my focus is determining thermodynamic phase diagrams of binary alloys from cluster expansions for their applications in batteries.

I was a postdoctoral research associate at the Jawaharlal Nehru Center for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bengaluru and the University of Minnesota before joining IISc. I received my Ph.D. from the Theoretical Sciences Unit at JNCASR and a Master’s degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.
