I am a Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. My research interests lie in computational materials science, particularly in understanding the electronic, magnetic, and structural properties of materials using density functional theory (DFT) calculations. I am interested in exploring the fundamental properties of materials and their potential applications in energy-related technologies.
Before joining IISc, I completed my Master of Science in Physics at the Central University of Punjab, where I graduated as the university first rank holder. My master’s thesis focused on the computational investigation of two-dimensional heterostructures and transition-metal-doped systems, focusing on their electronic and electrochemical properties.
Outside research, I enjoy getting lost in a good book, having a good coffee, and following football.
