I am currently a Project Associate in the SAI-Materials group, where I joined in September, 2025. I completed my Master’s degree in Chemistry from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur (NITJSR) in May 2025. As part of my degree, I carried out my thesis work at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, under the guidance of Dr. Naveen Kumar Veldurthi (at NITJSR) and co-guidance of Dr. Brindaban Modak (at BARC).
My research focuses on integrating computational techniques and material science, particularly on combining density functional theory and deep learning to develop machine-learned interatomic potentials.
Beyond research, I find meaning in creative and contemplative pursuits such as cooking, crocheting, listening to classical music, and exploring philosophy, anime, and both classic and Japanese literature. These interests continually remind me of the underlying harmony between art, thought, and science.
