I am currently a Project Associate at the SAI-MAT group. Previously, I pursued the M. Tech. programme in Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science from 2024-2026 where I worked with the SAI-MAT group for my Masters’ thesis. I was a Shell-IISc Masters’ fellow. Prior to my Masters, I completed my B. Tech. degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur, West Bengal.

My research at the SAI-Mat group revolves around the integration of machine learning and density functional theory calculations to develop machine-learned interatomic potentials (MLIPs). My primary goal is to contribute to the advancement of materials research with a focus on sustainable and eco-friendly solutions using different computational techniques. After my Masters with the group, I worked with Ola Electric as an engineer from July 2025 to July 2026.

I have a deep appreciation for Bengali old movies and songs. I can spend my whole day by playing cricket or badminton or sometimes by watching Yuvraj Singh at the cricket crease.
