I am a Ph.D. student in the SAI-MATerials group since August 2025. I did my Bachelors in Technology in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. I am keen on exploring and engineering materials properties through computational methods. I joined the SAI MATerials group to do my B. Tech. thesis research, which was on benchmarking universal machine learned interatomic potentials for migration barrier predictions, and ended up staying on in the group for a Ph.D.
Beyond academics, I am a passionate percussionist, playing traditional Indian instruments namely Mridangam, Chende, and Maddale, which are integral to Carnatic music and Yakshagana respectively. I also have a deep interest in studying Shastras (Indian Scriptures) and Sahitya (Literature), which shape my creative and intellectual pursuits.
So far, I have been involved in the following manuscripts based on my work in the group.
