Dereje Bekele Tekliye gave his PhD colloquium in the Department of Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Science on 27^th February, 2026, at 10am Indian time, The venue was the KP Abraham auditorium in the Department of Materials Engineering. Her thesis is titled, “Discovery and Evaluation of Cathode Materials for Calcium-ion Batteries through First-Principles and Machine Learning”. The group wishes him a smooth defense and a quick graduation.
